TSC INNOVATION, EMPRESA DE ACEROS AREQUIPA, GANA PREMIO MUNDIAL EN LOS TEKLA GLOBAL BIM AWARDS 2022
• La empresa peruana se impuso en la categoría Infraestructura con el proyecto Puente Óvalo Monitor.
• Más de 132 proyectos se inscribieron en la competencia de este año que incluye a ganadores de Tekla regionales BIM de 37 países.
Lima, 07 de octubre del 2022.- Los Tekla Global BIM Awards 2022 es la competencia bienal que reunió a 132 proyectos de construcción estructural más impresionantes del mundo, implementados sobre la base del mejor o más innovador uso de BIM y tecnologías digitales en ingeniería estructural. De las ocho categorías, el equipo de Ingeniería TSC INNOVATION de la Corporación Aceros Arequipa se impuso en la categoría de Proyectos de infraestructura con el proyecto Puente Óvalo Monitor, convirtiéndose en el mejor proyecto de infraestructura del mundo.
Ganador de la Categoría Infraestructura: Puente Óvalo Monitor
Este proyecto tiene una longitud proyectada de aproximadamente 2.2 km e incluye un paso elevado que consiste en un puente vehicular de hormigón armado de 870 metros de largo. Tiene una configuración de diseño de carretera compleja con secciones rectas y curvas. La subestructura del puente está compuesta por dos estribos y 21 pilares; la superestructura es una cubierta continua de sección de caja de hormigón postensado.
El equipo de TSC Innovation, junto con Aceros Arequipa y la constructora INCOT, utilizó ingeniería VDC detallada y colaborativa, prefabricación e IFC aplicado y conectividad en la nube.
El jurado reconoció el impresionante flujo de trabajo digital del proyecto, ya que los equipos de diseño utilizaron Tekla Model Sharing y Trimble Connect como un entorno de datos común.
Tulio Silgado, gerente general de Aceros Arequipa, manifestó que recibir este reconocimiento mundial los motiva a seguir trabajando por el desarrollo de soluciones integrales innovadoras que brinden mayor eficacia en cada obra.
TSC Innovation, junto con Aceros Arequipa, ha desarrollado la ingeniería de detalle de acuerdo con la metodología virtual design and Construction (VDC), para el mayor número de proyectos de puentes en el Perú. El principal software utilizado para el detalle de puentes es Tekla Structures, a través del cual se desarrolló la ingeniería de detalle BIM del proyecto a nivel de producción en el Óvalo Monitor Bridge.
