Queremos compartir contigo un nuevo logro, fruto del esfuerzo de todos los que conformamos Corporación Aceros Arequipa: en agosto inauguramos la Ampliación de nuestra Planta de Arequipa, que incrementó su capacidad instalada de producción en 150%; es decir, de 100 mil a 250 mil toneladas métricas anuales de productos terminados.
En la ceremonia de inauguración estuvo presente el Dr. Alan García, Presidente de la República, señalando que la modernización de esta planta constituye una muestra de confianza en el desarrollo de nuestro país.
Con esta ampliación, la capacidad de producción total entre las plantas de Pisco y Arequipa, sube a 800 mil toneladas con lo que nos reafirmamos como la empresa siderúrgica más grande del Perú.
Uno de los factores que ha contribuido a este crecimiento, ha sido tu preferencia por nuestros productos, que nos ha ubicado en el primer lugar en el mercado. Por ello, renovamos nuestro compromiso de seguir invirtiendo y trabajando por el progreso de todos los peruanos.
El desarrollo de la industria peruana es una buena noticia para todos porque genera más puestos de trabajo.
