En Corporación Aceros Arequipa queremos compartir con usted dos logros que nos llenan de orgullo, porque son fruto de nuestra filosofía empresarial y del compromiso de nuestros trabajadores por armonizar el desarrollo de nuestras actividades con la conservación del medio ambiente y el reforzamiento de la seguridad de nuestros procesos de fabricación.
Desde Marzo de este año somos la primera siderúrgica peruana que cuenta con dos nuevas certificaciones internacionales: el ISO 14001:2004, estándar que nos permite gestionar con efi cacia nuestra relación con el medio ambiente reduciendo el impacto de nuestras actividades operativas; y el OHSAS 18001:2007, como parte de la estrategia para reducir los riesgos asociados a la salud y seguridad de nuestros trabajadores, clientes y proveedores logrando ambientes de trabajo cada vez más seguros.
A propósito del tema, en momentos en que la protección del medio ambiente es de vital importancia en nuestra vida cotidiana, en esta edición encontrará un artículo detallado por el Dr. Salvador García Rodríguez y el MC. Kevin Luna Villarreal sobre la Valoración de la sustentabilidad en las viviendas y de cómo retomar los fundamentos de construcción para lograr un desarrollo continuo para la humanidad y la ecología.
Por otro lado, tenemos al Ing. Tarex Rojas, quien nos expone la importancia que tiene mejorar económicamente un producto inmobiliario de viviendas desde sus etapas de factibilidad y diseño tomando de ejemplo el Proyecto Parques del Agustino.
En el tema de Productividad, el Ing. Pablo Orihuela y la Lic. Amelia Kuroiwa, analizan sobre La nueva Norma Ergonómica, la cual ayuda en la seguridad, bienestar y mayor eficiencia en el desempeño laboral del trabajador.
Finalmente, presentamos un interesante artículo acerca del Sismo en Chile, desarrollado por el Ing. Ernesto Valle Velarde.
