History
Founded in 1964 in the city of Arequipa. We started operations in 1966 with our first Steel Products Lamination Plant, manufacturing angles, plates, and profiles for the markets of Lima and Arequipa.
We established our second Lamination plant in Pisco, a fundamental milestone in our history, building on our pioneering plant that had been operating in Arequipa for 17 years. This step significantly increased our production and commercialization levels.
We merged with Laminadora del Pacífico S.A., thus initiating the manufacture of billet steel, which, together with our new Pisco plant, was essential for the production, decentralization, and expansion of our product portfolio: construction bars and wire rod.
In 1996, we invested in cutting-edge technology and began operation at a modern direct reduction plant in Pisco, with the purpose of manufacturing sponge iron to improve the quality of our finest steels and increase production capacity.
At the end of 1997, Aceros Arequipa acquired 100% of the shares of Aceros Calibrados S.A., further expanding its portfolio of added-value products. This is how Aceros Arequipa Corporation S.A. was born.
In accordance with our philosophy of investing in state-of-the-art technology for all our production processes, in 2013 we completed construction of our second Lamination Train at the Pisco headquarters.

To meet market needs, we have a modern, high-speed plant located in Callao dedicated manufacturing of steel tubes in different sections and shapes.
