The oxyfuel process consists of cutting the steel by means of a torch fed and regulated by combustible gases, where propane gas allows heating a point of the steel to cutting temperature in a range of 1200° C to 1300° C and of a torch that provides the oxygen necessary for the oxidation of the steel.
For the process of oxyfuel in plates, the following parameters are used:
- Plasma cutting up to 2″ thick
- Oxyfuel cutting up to 4″ thick
