Aceros Arequipa integra las 16 empresas peruanas líderes en el índice de sostenibilidad del S&P y la BVL
● El S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) y la Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL) dieron a conocer los resultados del rebalanceo anual del S&P/BVL Peru General ESG, el primer índice con criterios ambientales, sociales y de gobierno corporativo (ESG, por sus siglas en inglés) del país.
Lima, 22 de mayo del 2024.- Corporación Aceros Arequipa (CAASA) se mantiene en el índice de sostenibilidad “S&P/BVL Peru General ESG” para el periodo 2024 – 2025, índice del que forma parte desde noviembre 2021. Con este resultado, CAASA se posiciona como la única compañía siderúrgica entre las 16 empresas reconocidas como líderes en sostenibilidad dentro del mercado bursátil local por este índice.
“Este reconocimiento es el reflejo de nuestra cultura empresarial y de nuestros esfuerzos continuos por promover y mantener prácticas sostenibles. Además, reafirma nuestro compromiso de demostrar que la industria siderúrgica se puede desarrollar responsablemente. El “S&P/BVL Peru General ESG” es un índice bursátil elaborado por la Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL), y el principal proveedor mundial de índices, S&P Dow Jones (S&P DJI); que evalúa el desempeño de las empresas en términos ambientales, sociales y de gobierno corporativo (ESG, por sus siglas en inglés), y que es el único de su tipo en el Perú.
