The main principles of Aceros Arequipa Ethics Line are:
- Recovery of metallic waste in liquid steel production.
- Utilization of industrial byproducts within CAASA.
- Implementation of solid waste recovery initiatives.
- Reporting key metrics to reflect management processes.
Steel Ethics Line
At Corporación Aceros Arequipa and its subsidiaries, we recognize the significance and impact of our actions both internally and within society. Therefore, we promote initiatives that benefit the community while mitigating any potential negative consequences.
Our internal codes and policies establish a behavioral framework to ensure responsible management that fosters a society where values, respect for individuals, and environmental responsibility prevail.
Reportable Incidents
You may report any situation you are aware of related to:
- Fraud, bribery, and corruption
- Sexual harassment and/or abuse of authority
- Conflicts of interest
- Money laundering
- Misappropriation or misuse of corporate assets
- Other unethical or illegal practices
It is important to clarify that this is not a customer service or complaint channel. As such, grievances, claims, or customer service requests will not be addressed through the Aceros Arequipa Ethics Line.
Communication Channels For The Aceros Arequipa Ethics Line
At Corporación Aceros Arequipa, we value your voice. That’s why we provide the Steel Ethics Portal, managed by Ernst & Young (EY), to offer expert guidance while ensuring confidentiality and anonymity in your reports.
This portal and all its communication channels are available 24/7 at no cost. It also allows you to upload files up to 50 MB as supporting evidence.
Our goal is to provide secure communication channels where you can report any of the following
- Fraud and/or collusion
- Conflicts of interest
- Misappropriation or misuse of corporate resources and/or confidential information
- Falsification of financial, accounting, legal, or other reports
- Suspicious activities or red flags related to AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism)
- Bribery and corruption
- Other violations of ethical standards
