Hermanos Moreano Valdivia de Distribuidora Santa Patricia - Lima Sur
MODERNIZAR EL NEGOCIO FERRETERO
Distribuidora Santa Patricia es una empresa familiar y de segunda generación, que es liderada por los hermanos Percy, Patricia y Freddy Moreano Valdivia, quienes continúan la aventura empresarial que inicio su padre, Percy Moreano, en el año 1986.
Los hermanos Moreano Valdivia han sabido acompañar el crecimiento del sector construcción y han logrado hacer crecer el mercado de distribuidora Santa Patricia, que atiende la demanda de materiales de construcción de la zona sur de Lima, desde sus dos locales en las avenidas Surco y Tomás Marsano.
Además, han sabido diversificar sus líneas de negocio y, desde hace dos años, cuentan con una constructora inmobiliaria que lleva por nombre MoreVal.
Los Moreano Valdivia recuerdan que Santa Patricia, en un primer momento, fue un negocio chico que atendía pequeñas cantidades de material de construcción, pero fue creciendo poco a poco y fue capaz de superar la catástrofe de la economía nacional a finales de la década de los ochenta.
El tiempo de estos hermanos comenzó en 1991, cuando Percy, el mayor, se hizo cargo del negocio. En los siguientes años, Patricia y Freddy se unieron al proyecto.
Patricia nos comenta que ella y sus hermanos han estado empapados del negocio desde muy chicos. Ayudaban en todas las labores de la distribuidora. "Yo, en este negocio, he hecho todos los trabajos administrativos que hay, desde cajera hasta administradora", recuerda.
Freddy, a su vez, nos comenta que una de las claves de la expansión del negocio se dio cuando su padre abrió la sucursal de la avenida Tomás Marsano, que les permitió tener un local más amplio, mejor ubicado y los hizo más conocidos.
No obstante, los hermanos Moreano Valdivia coinciden en que cuando tomaron la administración de la distribuidora hubo un antes y un después. Se mejoraron muchos aspectos de la empresa. Se tomó conciencia de que, para crecer, Santa Patricia debía dejar de administrarse como una empresa familiar y tomar el camino de la modernidad y el crecimiento.
Actualmente, Santa Patricia pasa por una segunda revolución. Los hermanos Moreano están automatizando todos los procesos de la empresa, con el objetivo de atender mejor y con mayor eficiencia a sus clientes, constituidos en su mayoría por constructoras.
Cuando le preguntamos a los hermanos con qué valores se conduce la empresa, ellos responden que en Santa Patricia se promueve la lealtad y el compañerismo, y que todos los colaboradores sientan que son parte de una gran familia y una empresa moderna.
