Industrialization
To give additional added value to our clients, Aceros Arequipa, through the industrialization process, offers Dimensioned Steel which consists of preparing the construction bars with dimensions according to the design provided by the client, we use cutting and folding for manufacturing. Pre-assembled structures are also prepared according to the plans, a service that reduces the installation time of steel in large civil construction works.
Lamination
The last part of the steel production process is hot rolling, where the billets are transformed into the different long steel products that the national and international market requires. Pisco's two Lamination Plants have two rolling mills with a high level of automation: the rolling mill No. 1, dedicated to the manufacture of square, round, plate, tees, helical bars and angles; and rolling mill No. 2, dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of construction bars, from 8mm to 1 3/8 ”with high-speed technology.
Fragmentation
A key component in the production of steel is the metallic charge. In the metallic area, the steel to be recycled is collected, according to its residual load and density.
The purchase of disused steel has been generating an important job market in our country and also contributes to caring for the environment.

Steelmaking
The production line of the Steelworks process has an 80t AC Electric Fusion Furnace and a Refining Furnace (Spoon Furnace).
The Melting Furnace has a 100 MVA transformer, in addition to 5 supersonic lances for oxygen injection, installed in its metal structure. The panels (oven walls) and the vault are water-cooled.
